The Randalls arrived from the United States in the small town of Ollantaytambo in the 1970s. Here Joaquin was born, a blue-eyed man with the soul of the Andes, who became the creator of an admirable project that brings together the ancestral customs of the people who embraced him and watched him grow up.
This experience takes you to the farm of his hotel, where you will be immersed in food and cooking traditions, including essential products of the Peruvian highlands. Visit the farm and learn about local vegetables and herbs. See the guinea pigs, rodents native to this area and the primary guest in local feasts.
Familiarize yourself with the production processes of a good coffee. Brought from Europe in the eighteenth century, coffee grows in the high jungle of our country and has been recognized as one of the best worldwide. Learn how to roast the seeds and take home beans full of aroma and flavor.
Visit the distillery and prepare your own “Andean Elixir”, using the best cane distillate of Peru and herbs that you will pick yourself from the garden. It is worth mentioning that a whiskey made from Jora grains is produced here, the only one of its kind in the world.
With the help of a local chef, prepare and taste traditional dishes without fusions, just as they have been served in the high Andean communities for a very long time.

Our experiences are designed considering the least possible exposure, where the final destinations are usually remote places.
