Your journey begins in Trujillo, in northern Peru, an hour’s flight from Lima.
You will travel with your surf coach, and in the afternoon, you will head to Huanchaco Beach to ride the first waves of the day and learn about the reed horses, a hand-woven reed boat used for over 400 years by local fishermen. According to archaeological evidence, it’s considered to be the first surfboard in the world.

Today you will stay in Chicama, surfing the longest left wave in the world. With an extension of over 2 km, you will spend one to two minutes gliding in the same wave. At noon, you will enjoy a fresh ceviche and learn more about this traditional dish, typical of the Coast of Peru.

Today you will go after new waves in little-explored beach coves, “points” only known to the local surfers.

In the morning, you will go in search of the best wave of the day, either in Chicama or Huanchaco.
After lunch, we will take you back to the airport for your flight back to Lima.

By their very nature, our adventure activities are considered to be low risk, mainly because they are performed outdoors where ventilation is constant and making it easy to achieve social distancing.

They and their families are aligned with the established health and safety measures. Employing these staff members also seeks to reactivate the local economy.
