Navigating the Amazon River is simply a magical and unique experience.
To observe biodiversity from up close in pristine spaces is to connect with the essence of life.
Aboard the Delfin, sail into the Amazon, the longest and largest river in the world.
For five days, let yourself be absorbed by the magic of the jungle in its purest, most natural, and wildest state and discover why Peru is one of the most biodiverse countries on the planet.
The Amazon takes on different forms with each sunrise, sunset, and nightfall. Enjoy every minute of being in the lungs of the world while enjoying an exclusive luxury service aboard this spectacular cruise.
Land in the city of Iquitos, in the northern jungle of Peru. A shuttle will take you to the port of Nauta, to embark on a luxurious experience on the waters of the Amazon River.
Enjoy a magnificent panoramic view while learning about the geographical and historical origins of this enchanting place.
In the afternoon, explore Pahuachiro, a beautiful place ideal for bird watching and observing different species of monkeys. The landscape is decorated by the colors reflected by the sun, a perfect opportunity to photograph your first sunset in the Amazon.
At night, the jungle transforms. You will cruise along the riverbank, searching for small caimans, squirrel monkeys, dolphins, and even sloths.
At dawn, enter the Pacaya Samiria National Reserve and witness the abundant wildlife that becomes active at sunrise. Onboard a boat, head to Las Palmas to see various birds, such as the famous Hoatzin, and two and three-toed sloths.
Cross the Yanayacu and Pucate Rivers, passing by different streams and lagoons. This is one of the best-preserved and protected areas of the Reserve and the ideal place to explore with kayaks or paddleboards. You will also have a chance to see the famous pink dolphins.
In the afternoon, walk along the area’s only Canopy walkway. Enjoy an incredible view of the jungle from the treetops, the best vantage point to observe the wildlife and vegetation of the Amazon.
This morning begins on the waters of the Yanayaquillo River. In kayaks or boats, navigate a stream leading to a lake, accompanied only by the sounds of the forest as you observe birds and playful monkeys, a face-to-face encounter with wildlife.
The scenery decorated by the usual colors of the jungle at sunset is breathtaking. Continue sailing aboard the Delfin and enjoy the beauty of the Amazon rainforest in all its splendor.
Aboard our boats, continue exploring the Amazon Rainforest in search of wildlife. Encounter unique creatures hanging from the treetops.
In the afternoon, explore the Yarapa River. Listen closely to the sounds of the mysterious jungle as you observe hawks, swallows, herons, and monkeys. At this point, you will begin to see the first signs of civilization: the rivereños, people who form an essential part of this complex biological network.
You are not the same after entering the heart of the Peruvian Amazon. With a grateful spirit and renewed energy, you will head to the Port of Nauta and then to the airport in the city of Iquitos, the same place where five days ago this great adventure began.
