But it is truly unique to be able to connect with the past by listening to the sound of ancestral musical instruments amid the acoustics inside the chapel of an old monastery.
You will meet the Cusco musician, Gustavo León, whose compilation and composition of Andean music has led him to win awards and recognition at several international festivals.
Furthermore, you will access Gustavo’s unique collection of native and ancestral musical instruments, replicas of pre-Incan and Incan cultures. Some of them are wind devices made of clay, animal bones, and stunning seashells.
You will learn more about their origins and how they are played and enjoy a casual private concert in an exclusive seventeenth-century venue.
