78 km (48 miles) from Calafate is the Perito Moreno Glacier, an ice formation of 250 km2 (97 square miles) and 30 km (19 miles) long, that you will visit in a unique and fascinating way.
Sail for 20 minutes, facing the front wall of the glacier and disembark on the opposite shore, where specialized mountain guides will welcome you to take you along the shores of the lake and to the edge of the glacier, an irregular but firm and safe ice surface.
With the use of crampons, enter streams, small lagoons, and crevasses amidst ice formations of incredible blue colors.

Today we will sail across Lake Argentino, with breathtaking views of the Upsala Glacier, to visit Estancia Cristina, the main house of an historic Patagonian ranch located in a unique natural setting.
After disembarking at Estancia Cristina, we will ascend along the Cordón Feruglio for 9.5 km. (6.2 mi.) in an FWD vehicle, From here, we will walk to the Upsala Glacier Viewpoint, which has panoramic views of Lake Guillermo, the imposing eastern front of the Upsala Glacier, and the Southern Patagonian Continental Ice Field.
We will then visit the Estancia’s Museo Costumbrista, formerly an old shearing shed, where visitors will learn about the history of the family’s pioneers.
