Dalmiro Portillo

Dalmiro hails from Quillabamba, a city located in the northern jungle area of the Cusco region, and is one the guides with the most years of experience in the Cordillera of the Andes within our organization. His background has brought him to the aegis of his profession and he is considered to be one of the foremost trekking guides in Cusco. Apart from being fluent in English, Dalmiro is also a native Quechua speaker thus making him into an invaluable translator and interpreter when in his company we trek the ancient Inka roads of Perú. As is the case with all of our guiding staff, Dalmiro has undergone professional first-aid training courses. Terra Explorer Peru is very proud to have Dalmiro in our team.
