 Piero Vellutino
Piero is the youngest of the Vellutino brothers, all of whom established White Water Rafting in Peru and have continually dedicated themselves to the world of adventure sports.
As a professional kayaker and white water rafting guide, Piero has formed part of numerous expeditions through different rivers throughout the world, as well as completing the first descents down several rivers in Peru. He is also the current Peruvian National Kayaking Champion (1998 – current).
Piero is also a Water Rescue instructor (Swift Water Rescue), certified to give courses to firemen, marines, rescue police and canoeing guides.
After working more than 10 years as an adventure and traditional tourism guide throughout different parts of America, Europe, Asia and Africa, he decided to join the best of these experiences and form Terra Explorer Peru.
As to guiding in Peru, Piero has it all. Be it white water rafting, trekking, kayaking or mountain biking his contagious personality and joy de vivre are something you cannot bypass, let alone ever forget.
